Today I am excited to share two pieces of postcard fiction inspired by the photo I posted yesterday. Please enjoy.
By Jane Chapman:
Life is walking on ice. Advancing into the unknown. Cracking the surface or gliding effortlessly. Perception murky or crystal clear. Never knowing when we may plummet, swallowed by the unknown.
By Sheena Koops:
My imagination hops from one icy lily pad to another until it blurs with the birds just below the horizon and disappears leaving my body alone with reality. One step in and I’m sinking.
Sheena let me know she posted another story on her own blog at http://treatywalks.blogspot.com/2012/01/day-ninety-one-post-card-story.html.
Thank you Jane and Sheena. Keep writing!
